In the early 1980s Parallax Press began to publish the very first books by Thich Nhat Hanh—made possible by the birth of desktop publishing. I designed the covers for many of these books with the goal to create covers that were not the traditional "Buddhist/Eastern/Religious" look, but more simple, colorful, and clear to try to reach a broader audience.
