During these years, in addition to being a mother, I worked on very focused, detailed projects—all in the area of Information Graphics. We were pioneering the design of maps (rather than traditional cartography) for transit, parks, universities, zoos, diagrams for wayfinding, and guide books. The work shown here includes posters and logos—all of which were designed in the 70s—before we had computers.

The Whale poster won Honorable distinction at the 5th International Poster Biennale, Warsaw 1974.
